¡Bienvenidos a mi viaje por España! After living in Chicago for over 40 years, I felt it was time for a significant change. I made the bold decision to move across the world. It was tough leaving behind family, friends, and significant other, and relocate to different continent. My long-held dream of living abroad became a reality in 2019. A city in Southern Spain with a warm and sunny climate was the perfect place to start a new chapter. Once I adjusted to life in Lorca, I began exploring other cities and towns all over Spain. Although, I am living back in the United States, I make it a point to visit Spain and spend a few months exploring new places.

In 2024, I lived in Oviedo for 3 months. I walked the Camino de Santiago Primitive Route. It starts in Oviedo, Asturias and ends 196 miles away in Santiago de Compostela.
I also did a few short hikes in Picos de Europa National Park. This small town, Bulnes, is only accessible by hiking or by funicular.
